Air Vehicle Sounds

Better engine and weapon sounds for helicopters and planes, and sound-equipped close air support modules for Zeus.

Engines and weapons

  • Re-mixed engine sounds for many vanilla helicopters and jets, and for RHS and USAF air vehicles and rockets.
  • Improved cannon, gatling, rocket and gunship gun sounds, different inside and outside the aircraft and depending on the surroundings.
  • G-force breathing and rumbling for pilots in jets.

Volume control

  • Separate outside and inside volume for helicopters and planes, plus an extra outside boost.
  • Optional cockpit simulation: in first person, the outside engine noise is muffled.

Zeus air support

Zeus gets close air support modules (light gun run, heavy gun run, rocket run and bomb run).

Settings

Volumes and cockpit simulation are under Addon Options → TF999 Air Vehicles. See settings_users.md for the full list and keybinds_users.md for keybinds. This addon has no keybinds.
