Immersion Documents

Papers, please. Soldiers and civilians carry real documents that you can look at, show and ask to see, with a proper document screen instead of a text hint.

Documents

• Passports and national ID cards for a range of fictional and real countries, including Egypt, Russia, Chernarus, Takistan, Ardistan, Karzeghistan, Grozovia, Somalia, Somaliland, Ethiopia and the Sudan.
• Driver's license, military ID, firearm registration certificate, vehicle, weapons and entry permits, travel and work visas, bill of lading and vaccination certificate.
• Every person gets their own name, details and numbers, generated automatically and consistent between viewings.

Using them

• Open the ACE interaction menu on a person and choose "Documents" to see what they carry.
• Show displays one of your documents to the person in front of you (within about 5 m).
• View looks at a document yourself, either your own or someone else's.
• Request asks the person to show you a document. A player sees a yes/no prompt. Civilian AI always agree, friendly AI comply and hostile AI refuse.
• Documents also appear in the ACE Arsenal under their own "Documents" tab.
• "Check Weapon Serial" in the ACE equipment menu shows the serial number of the weapon you hold. The same weapon always has the same serial.

For Zeus

• A "Set Attribute" module changes the identity shown on a unit's documents.
• A "Manual Requests" module makes a unit hand the decision to Zeus, who answers yes or no on the unit's behalf when someone asks to see papers.
• One keybind (under TF999 Documents, Zeus) shows the document details of the unit you are controlling.
