Pilot and Crew Gear

Flight gear for fighter pilots, helicopter crews and flight-deck ground crew: helmets, flight suits, vests, gloves, headsets and visors, in the styles of the US Air Force, Navy, Marine Corps and Army, plus South Korean and Japanese air forces.

Helmets

• A wide range of pilot helmets, from older-style helmets to modern helmet-mounted-display types, including some with squadron paint schemes.
• Most helmets come as a family: visor up, visor down, oxygen mask on, oxygen mask off. Each variant is its own item you can wear or find in the arsenal.
• Ground-crew headsets (with and without ear defenders) and aircrew headsets.

Uniforms and vests

• Flight suits for each service, in several colour and patch variants, plus a plain blank suit.
• Helicopter crew uniforms in two camouflage patterns.
• Ground-crew shirts and mechanic coveralls.
• Pilot vests, a US Army pilot vest, and high-visibility safety vests in yellow and orange, plus Nomex flight gloves.

Ready-made pilots and crew

Pilots and crew are ready to place in the editor under the FIR Pilot&Crew pack category: fighter pilots for each service (some with modern helmets), helicopter pilots and crew, and ground crew. A pilot you place starts with a visor that fits the time of day: clear after 19:00, dark otherwise, and either up or down at random.

Toggling your visor and mask

The regular Pilot and every pilot in this pack get two scroll-wheel actions on themselves:

• Toggle Visor switches your visor or helmet to its raised or lowered version.
• Toggle Mask switches your helmet to its version with or without the oxygen mask.

They only work on the player character, while alive, and only with gear that has a matching version.

Settings and keybinds

This addon has no settings and no keybinds. The two toggles above are scroll-wheel actions, not keys.
