LAMBS Main

The shared foundation of LAMBS Danger. It holds the common tools the other LAMBS parts use, and the settings that shape how AI groups talk to each other, fight and show off their state.

Information sharing

  • AI groups pass on what they know about enemies, by shouting over a short range or by radio over a longer one. Backpack radios (vanilla or TFAR) extend that range.
  • You can set the range per side, how accurate the shared information is, and how far friendly groups are pulled into combat mode when one group is fighting.
  • Sharing can be switched off completely.

Suppression

  • AI suppress positions they think hold enemies, but not when the target or an obstacle is too close, and not when friendlies are near the line of fire.
  • Suppression from your own AI squad can be switched off.

Battlefield behaviour

  • Optional shouted callouts and hand gestures during combat.
  • Enhanced fleeing, quick dodging when hit, and vehicles switching ammunition to suit the target can each be switched off.
  • Indoor movement chance can be tuned.
  • The mod checks that clients and the server run the same version and warns you if they do not.

Debug

Optional on-screen and log debug info showing what each AI is thinking, for mission makers and testers.

Settings and keybinds

Everything is in Addon Options under the LAMBS Danger settings. There are no keybinds in this part (the LAMBS command keys are in the LAMBS Danger part). See settings_users.md and keybinds_users.md for the rest of the pack.
