Sound Effects
A large set of extra sounds that make combat and movement feel more alive. Each block can be switched on or off and tuned separately.
Combat
- Death, headshot and neckshot screams, and death rattles, with separate close and far volume.
- Hit screams when someone is wounded, and voice lines suited to female faces.
- Bullets cracking past you and debris hits when under fire, with different sounds for small, medium, sniper and heavy rounds, plus shell-shock ringing.
- Extra bass on gunfire, and a click when your weapon is almost empty.
- A bigger boom when a vehicle is destroyed.
Movement and gear
- Landing sounds when you jump down, on ground or in water, and a different thump when prone.
- Bodies thump on the ground when they fall, and the sound depends on the surface (grass, sand, gravel, concrete, metal, wood, water).
- Foley for aiming down sights, leaning, opening the map, opening and closing the inventory, and picking up or dropping items, weapons and gear.
- A click when you flip night vision goggles on.
Breathing
Your character breathes harder as you get tired (sprinting, low stamina), when hurt, after throwing a grenade and when under fire. It follows ACE fatigue if ACE is running.
Sparks
Bullets hitting metal throw sparks.
