Backpack On Chest

Lets you wear a backpack on your chest as well as on your back, so you can carry a second pack, or a parachute on your back with your gear pack worn in front.

Chest pack

• Move your backpack to your chest, back to your back, or swap the two if you carry two packs. It is on the ACE Equipment self-interaction menu, and also in the ACE Arsenal.
• The chest pack has its own inventory that you can open and use. Items and magazines can go into it as well as onto your person.
• If you die, your chest pack drops as a normal backpack with all its contents.
• You cannot move the pack while hanging from a parachute, but a chest pack stays visible in front of you while you descend.
• By default you are forced to walk while a backpack is on your chest.

Lowering gear on a parachute

• While under a parachute you can lower your chest pack on a line so you land without it hanging on you, and you can cut the line to drop it.

For mission makers

• An editor module adds a chest pack, with contents, to soldiers.

Settings and keybinds

You can turn the whole feature off, or turn off forced walking, in the addon options under TF999 Core → Backpack On Chest. There is one keybind (switch backpack, not bound by default). See settings_users.md and keybinds_users.md.
