LAMBS Waypoints

Gives mission makers ready-made AI behaviours as editor modules and waypoints. Drop a module, link a group, and the group acts out that role. Zeus gets the same behaviours in its right-click menu.

Behaviours

  • Patrol and Hunt: patrol an area, or search for the target in a spiral, using flashlights and flares if they have them.
  • Creep: sneak up and ambush enemies in a low stance, using cover.
  • Rush: run aggressively at enemies, often ignoring cover and suppression.
  • Assault / Retreat: rush or flee towards a point that can be moved during the mission.
  • Defend: hold an area, moving between cover and buildings, manning weapons and calling for artillery.
  • Garrison: take positions in buildings and man turrets and static weapons.
  • Camp: gather around a point as if at a campsite, with some soldiers peeling off to guard.
  • CQB: search the buildings in an area.
  • Reset: cancel any of the above on a unit.
  • Dynamic Target: a target point that can be moved during the mission.

Search modules normally only target hostile players. Most have options for area size, update interval, stealth, and dynamic reinforcement.

Artillery

  • Register artillery units to a side, or let the mod register them automatically.
  • Task Artillery fires the first available registered gun of a side at a location, with options for spread, main salvo and skipping adjusting rounds.

Settings and keybinds

One option: automatic artillery registration (off by default), under Addon Options. No keybinds. See settings_users.md and keybinds_users.md for the rest of the pack.
